Murat Samil Aslan is a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Saab AB in Järfälla, Sweden. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees all in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 2001, 2003 and 2009, respectively. He has an industrial working experience at ILTAREN Research and Development Group operating under National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology, Turkey, on the fields of IR seekers, navigation and guidance of IR missiles, IR/RF electronic warfare, IR/electro-optic system design and helicopter aerodynamics. His academic research interests include target tracking, statistical signal processing, detection and estimation theory and radar signal processing.
