Henk Luinge received the M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering in 1998 and the PhD degree in Electrical engineering in 2002 both from Twente University, Enschede, the Netherlands. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Rehabilitation institute of Chicago as well as at the Biomechanics unit at the École Vétérinaire d'Alfort, Paris, France. He is currently leading the Xsens research team, developing algorithms for systems containing miniature inertial sensors in area's such as biomechanics, robotics and navigation.
